National Customer Service Week
October 1-7, 2006

What a great time to acknowledge and invest in your organization's greatest asset: your staff! Celebrate National Customer Service Week by treating your company to a Service Enthusiasm® Boost!

Here's the scoop:

The International Customer Service Association started National Customer Service Week in 1988, and in 1992 the U.S. Congress proclaimed it a national event to be celebrated the first full week in October (click here to read the proclamation). This special week is a chance for businesses to recognize the importance of customer service, to honor frontline staff, and to celebrate customers. According to the International Customer Service Association, National Customer Service Week should "create a positive message that lasts all year long, and provide a productive opportunity to generate an even stronger commitment to customer service excellence."

It's the perfect opportunity for your organization to:

  • Energize, motivate, boost morale, and improve teamwork.
  • Strengthen your customer service culture.
  • Reward and recognize employees.
  • Create an action plan that brings greater results to your bottom line.
  • Thank your customers, both internal and external, for their support.
  • Declare and demonstrate your commitment to customer service excellence.
